Districts :

It has Arabian Sea on its west and western mountainous ghats on the eastern coast. It has a coastline of around 580 kms, the stretch is known as Parasurama stretch along the north-south coastline. The width varies from 35 to 120 kms of this coastline.

The city has cascading outview all over the place.
There are numerous golden coasts elegantly covered with coconut groves. There is something very distinct and unique about Kerala, which is not found anywhere round the world, its topography and physical features changes gradually as one moves from east to west coast.
The mountainous Western Ghats borders the eastern boundary of this wonderful and unique State. If one has to see from top, it is almost like a continuous mountain wall. In the middle is Palakkad which has a natural mountain pass famously known as the Palakkad Gap.
The ghats average elevation is around 1500 meters above the sea level. There is some amazing and unique beauty about kerala, people around the world would miss this lovely place while on their tour to India.
